HEARING CONSERVATION

HEARING CONSERVATION

According to the CDC, occupational hearing loss is one of the most common work-related illness in the U.S., with millions being exposed to hazardous noise levels. In fact, 25% of adults have some level of hearing loss. See how we can help with your hearing conservation program.

ANNUAL TRAINING

Part of a hearing conversation program is annual training. Our presentation includes how to properly use hearing protection, why it’s important and what happens if you don’t.

NOISE WARNING SIGNS
  • Ringing or humming in your ears when you leave work.
  • Shouting to be heard by a coworker an arm's length away.
  • Experience temporary hearing loss when leaving work.

NEXT STEPS TO TAKE:

HEARING TESTING AND NOISE ANALYSIS

If you are needing a noise level analysis or to have hearing test done, we work with a third party that can provide these services.

HEARING CONSERVATION PROGRAM

An effective hearing conservation program must be implemented by employers whenever worker noise exposure is equal to or greater than 85 dBA for an 8 hour exposure. Contact Our Safety Specialist to assess and discuss your hearing conservation needs.
